Dystopic in nature, Charlie’s art practice combines material practices, photography and digital media to explore the paradoxical nature of social isolation in a hyperconnected world - a phenomenon that has exploded due to Covid 19. She is interested in the impact of technology on the body and how the overconsumption of images through media, television and social platforms desensitize us to or affects real world situations.
